Tim Rose

Pivot Power

Tim is the Programme Lead for the Energy Superhub Oxford project.  This is a multiparter demonstrator project showcasing large scale battery storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure and ground source heat pumps, to support Oxford City Council’s road to Net Zero.  Tim is very interested in how the integration of low carbon transport, heat and power in projects such as this can offer a model for decarbonising local energy systems across the UK.

Tim works for Pivot Power, part of EDF Renewables, focusing on large scale Battery storage and EV charging infrastructure.  He has worked in the renewable energy sector for the past 14 years, in a wind start up and then in utility scale solar development and construction in the UK and Europe, where he was Managing Director EMEA for Solarcentury.  He previously worked for 15 years in the UK Aerospace sector in commercial and general management roles.  Tim studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
